As the Design Director, you will play a pivotal role in leading and shaping the visual identity of our campaign. Working closely with various departments, you’ll develop cohesive design strategies that amplify our message, enhance our branding, and inspire our audience. This position demands artistic vision, strategic thinking, and the ability to lead and collaborate with talented designers. Your role will require flexibility, creativity, and a commitment to achieving excellence in design. You may be called upon to work during irregular hours, including evenings and weekends, and travel as necessary to meet project needs and deadlines.

 

May require travel and work on occasional weekends and evenings as determined. 

 

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Provide visionary leadership and direction for the design team, fostering creativity, innovation, and alignment with campaign goals.
  • Collaborate with various departments to develop and implement cohesive design strategies that enhance branding and messaging.
  • Oversee the creation and execution of design projects, ensuring quality, consistency, and adherence to timelines and budgets.
  • Evaluate and refine design processes, implementing best practices and tools to achieve efficiency and excellence.
  • Engage with vendors, consultants, and external partners to ensure successful project execution and alignment with brand standards.
  • Stay informed about industry trends, technologies, and best practices, applying insights to drive continuous improvement.
  • Work closely with communications teams to ensure that design strategies are effectively integrated into broader campaigns.
  • Regularly report on design performance and project progress, utilizing data-driven insights to evaluate success and identify opportunities for improvement.
  • Ensure that all design activities align with campaign values, ethics, and regulations, maintaining a commitment to excellence in every aspect of the role.

 

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Proven experience in leading design teams, preferably within a values-driven organization.
  • Exceptional visual design skills and artistic sensibility.
  • Strong organizational abilities, strategic thinking, and attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Proficient in using modern design software and digital tools.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and adapt to changing priorities.
  • Willingness to work long and irregular hours, including evenings and weekends, as needed.

 

Salary Range: $7,000-$9,000 monthly
